In the previous weeks blog I called out Conor and he responded…in a BIG way!
He told the ref something that included an F bomb and away he went…but we won the game so my pep talk worked. Included in that game against Sommerville, we had a penalty kick that went upper 90!!! Oh but 3 knuckleheads went in early and stole Ryan’s goal, but no worries he got another crack at it. But he cracked it off the post…BBBOOOO! That made the final 15 minutes down a man very tense but we pulled it out.
There was also a great defensive play by Dave, after Rabbito made a fantastic move and was about to shoot Dave swooped in out of nowhere and kicked the ball safely out-of-bounds.
And once again the defense carried all of the load, scoring the only goal and shutting out the other team.
