Opening Day Recap

Great effort on Sunday from all and great turn out. Was awesome to see more than 2 guys on the sidelines eager to sub in throughout the entire guy. Let's keep attendance up. Couple quick highlights from Sunday: -Great to have Flynnie back in the net-Two new field additions we are excited about which unfortunately one came down with the flu (Guy) and the other pulled a groin early (Dave). Looking fwd to having those guys back healthy-Although it initially looked as though I tackled a guy in the box, I did get all ball. Learning lesson- keep playing until a whistle blows-In typical fashion, Juice get's the scoring started for the Villans to tie up the game-BS call at the start of the second half which awarded them a PK -Ref then lost control of the game for a bit.-Sava, great work breaking the yellow card ice-Joe- what can i say. well done keeping up with speedy all game-Must thank myself for the cold beers after the game and also thanks to Garv, Brendan and Sava for the text from my wife asking 'was there a double header I did not know about..' I will end it at that.
