Alright guys it has been a long time since I came to this site to write up a blog about our games. In my defense we were 0-13 for 2009 and I could not muster the enthusiasm.
ALL OF THAT HAS CHANGED!!! 3-0-2 in our last five games, and a shorthanded win today, has me all fired up!
2 great games this weekend. Brent successfully avoided falling in to a goal post for 180 minutes and manged to pitch 2 shutout 2nd halves.
The offense lead by Rabbito, Juice and Tom (Ryan you just missed out on being included with this group) finally got on track finding the back of the net a whopping 7 times.
The defense was great in the second halves, with Garvin Joe and myself showing up for both games and making some great stops. Jaime graced us with his presence on Sunday, and showed us what not to do with a ball at the 18 with a forward on your back...DON'T WHIFF.
We passed and moved the ball well with Cam and Erik playing outside half, and got good defense and crosses from Phil, Dave and Brett.
Then there was the Fighting Panicali don't let the 130lbs fool you he is scrappy. After being knocked down, but not out, the A-hole from the other team had the nerve to say something about Ryan's mother. Ryan of course had to defend her honor and leveled the guy with a right cross that he never saw coming. This drew the Red Card but it was well worth it because I never got a chance to see Mike Tyson fight in person, but I now feel I know what it would be like!

Finally I would like to thank Tom for that Awesome corner kick he gave me, which Garvin said that I "skyed for"! Not many saw my salute to the Hurricanes, cuz they were busy watching my GAME WINNING header go in the back of the net, but thankfully one of the parents of the little kids got a shot of it.
2 wins next week and we win the Division and move up!
